Joe and TaLisha have both been in
construction all their lives. They have always wanted to
be in business together, and by creating Marquis Homes, Inc.,
they have been able to combine both their levels of construction
expertise to benefit the home buying public.
Joe has an extensive resume of commercial
construction experience. Not only has he been a hands on
tradesman since 1984, but also he has ran numerous jobs
throughout the entire state of Alaska. He has the
knowledge and experience to build you a custom, quality home.
On the other side of the business is
where his wife, TaLisha comes in. TaLisha has lived in
Alaska since 1974, and was practically raised on a jobsite, as
her father is also in the building business. Learning
aspects of construction at a very early age, TaLisha
concentrates her abilities on the bookkeeping part of the
business. Her resume includes commercial construction
since 1990, and residential construction since 1996.
TaLisha also represents Marquis Homes, Inc. as their exclusive marketing and listing representative.
Together, Joe and TaLisha began building
in 1998, with their own home. They enjoyed it so much;
they wanted to start their own family business. So, they
combined their construction resumes to start Marquis Homes, Inc.
Named after the diamond in their lives, their daughter, Danni
Marquis.
